金沢百万石まつり実行委員会は本日(4月13日)第69回百万石まつりの中止を正式に発表しました。2020年6月6日開催予定の百万石行列を含む5日～7日の関連行事は中止されます。

中止決定行事：百万石行列、百万石踊り流し、百万石茶会、百万石薪能、祈願祭、献茶式

中止要請行事：子ども提灯太鼓行列、盆正月、民謡華絵巻

中止理由：新型コロナウイルス感染拡大防止の観点から、多数の参加者や県内外から訪れる観客の安全を確保することが極めて難しいと判断したため。

なお協賛行事の開催については、各主催者の判断となるが安全第一の適切な判断がされるように要請されるとのことです。

On April 13, it was officially announced that Kanazawa Hyakumangoku Festival is cancelled this year. Related events on June 5, 6 and 7 including the Hyakumangoku Parade on June 6.

Canceled Events: Samurai Parade, Odorinagashi (Evening Dance Parade), Tea Ceremonies, Takigi Noh Performance, Shinto Rituals at Oyama Shrine

Events Requested to Cancel: Children's Lantern Parade, Bon Shogatsu, Minyo Hana Emaki

Reason: With the situation of COVID-19 (corona virus), it is very difficult to guarantee the safety for attendees and visitors from all over Japan.
